Self-promotion can feel icky.  It takes me right out of my comfort zone.  In fact, I’d much rather be shouting about other people, than myself.    And if you’re like me, you’re someone who values integrity, depth, and not sounding like a walking billboard, then you don’t want to feel like you’re shouting into the void or hijacking every conversation with a pitch.

So you stay quiet. You tell yourself the right people will “just know,”  you wait for the perfect moment to share what you do, you post content that dances around your real message and you keep your brilliance tucked neatly behind humility and a few vague lines on your About page.

But the simple truth is:

If you’re not telling people who you are and what you’re here to do… you’re not being humble. You’re being unhelpful.

Because if they don’t know you exist, how can they ever choose you?  If they don’t know the transformation you offer, how can they say yes to it and If they don’t feel your presence, your passion, your purpose — they miss out.  And so do you.

As I’ve said before, this isn’t about shouting louder.

It’s about showing up clearer.

Soul-aligned marketing isn’t performative. It’s not about slick tactics or saying the “right” thing to get a sale. It’s about resonance and resonance only happens when people can actually feel you — your essence, your values, the work you’re devoted to.

But if you’re hiding, they can’t feel that!  Or if you’re waiting for permission, they can’t hear you.  And if you’re trying to “get it perfect,” they’re left wondering what you even do.

You don’t need to fake confidence or become someone else -you just need to share your truth clearly enough that the people who need it can find you.

Because your people are already looking for you.
And it’s your job — your responsibility, even — to make it easy for them to say:

“Ohhh… it’s you. I’ve been waiting for someone like you.”

So consider this your gentle nudge:

Tell us who you are.  Tell us what you’re up to.
Tell us what you’re creating, what you believe in, what you’re here to help with.
Let it be messy if it needs to be. Let it be simple. But let it be seen.

Because your work matters.  And we can’t say yes to it if we don’t even know it’s there.
